Especially tight on the nikon side, which was perfect for me. The aperture ring is simple and tight enough so it doesn't move unless you move it. The release latch is pretty annoying, cause it just about touches the nikon lens, but it's not a big deal, you can just catch it with your fingernail. This review is from: Novoflex Adapter MFT/NIK for all Nikon Lenses to MicroFour Thirds Camera Bodies - Manual Aperture Control Ring for Nikkor G-Series Lenses (Electronics) Yes, it is expensive, and perhaps the Chinese could make one as good and cheaper; as as things stand this is the best Nikon lens to Micro 4/3 camera adapter available. I bought the Fotodiox Pro Adapter for $23.95 (Nikon to MFT), also from Amazon, and there really is no comparison. If you need to connect only old manual Nikon lenses, the Fotodiox will get the job done. But if you have predominately G type Nikkor lenses, as I do, you need this, in spite of its rather eye-watering price. If you have already paid for a Panasonic AF100 camcorder, you will know all about forking out big dollars.
